This writer has received e-mails to continue discussing Nova Thought. It is important to remember, that Nova Thought is neither a Religion, nor a Belief System, nor a Philosophy, although it partakes of certain aspects of all of them. Nova Thought is instead, a Technique, a New Metaphysical Technology. Let’s review some information we haven’t covered for a while, shall we?
There are Seven Principles in Nova Thought, which correspond to the classical planets, elements, colors, numbers, directions, Runes, Hebrew Letters, and of course, the Seven Major Chakras. From the base of the spine upwards, the Chakras are the Muladhara, Svadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishudhi, Ajna, and Sahasrara. The corresponding Principles, in the Sequence of the Chakras, are Stone, Rain, Flame, Wind, Essence, Shadow and Light. Another Sequence follows arrangement of the Sacred Numbers of the Principles. Wind is One, Rain is Two, Flame is Three, Stone is Four, Essence is Five, Light is Six, and Shadow is Seven. Following the Hebrew Weekly Sequence, Sunday is Light, Monday is Shadow, Tuesday is Flame, Wednesday is Wind, Thursday is Rain, Friday is Stone, and Saturday is Essence. The Directional Sequence, which follows the Seasons, Times of Day, and so on, is different yet. East is Wind, South is Flame, West is Rain, North is Stone, Essence is Center, Shadow is Down, and Light is Up.
There are also the Three Sources, which function as “Background Energy” to the Seven Principles. The Three Sources are normally listed as The Road, Chaos and Order, which reflect the Three Nadis, Namely, the Ida, Pingala and Sushumna. Numbers for The Road, Chaos and Order are Ten, Eight and Nine. The Road, Chaos and Order also relate to Pluto, Neptune and Uranus.
As noted before, following the Seven Principles in the reverse Sequence of the Chakras, that is, from Crown to Base, creates a Magic Circle, Above, Below, Center, East, West, South, North.
Preceding this by the Road, Chaos and Order, we activate the Three Nadis, then the Seven Chakras. The Road may be viewed as “Beyond”, Chaos as “Outside”, and Order as “Inside”. This takes us back to the “Song of the Nova", doesn't it?
SONG OF THE NOVA
By GLENN RUSSELL BORKEN
I am the Traveler of the Road.
I tread a secret path to my abode.
I am the Master of Chaos.
I pass through endless emptiness and glide across!
I am the Servant of Order.
I create harmony without a border.
I am the Monarch of the Light.
I use my might to set things right.
I am the Seer of the Shadow.
I see yesterday, today and tomorrow.
I am the Sage of the Essence.
I banish ignorance by my presence.
I am the Messenger of Wind.
I whisper, and false images rescind.
I am the Warrior of Flame.
I honor deeds of valor, done in my name.
I am the Champion of Rain.
I dissolve forever sorrow, guilt and pain.
I am the Guardian of Stone.
I triumph over fear, I alone!
