NOVA THOUGHT 101.2: THE SVADHISTHANA CHAKRA

Welcome to the third article in this series.  For those who missed it, the series began here. We are dealing with a System of Metaphysical Technology known as “Nova Thought”, which will be unveiled little by little in the course of this series of articles.  Nova Thought has a lot to do with the Seven Major Chakras, the Energy Centers said to exist along the human spine.  Accordingly, I am providing a step by step overview, touching briefly on each of the Seven Chakras.  “Where is this all going?” you may be asking.  It will be explained as we continue along.  Now, let’s get back to the Chakras.

The Svadhisthana (“one’s own abode”), or Splenic Chakra is located at the level of the suprapelvic notch, which may be located by palpating the very front of the top of the pelvis.  The appropriate Mantra is Vam (pronounced “vahm”), the Sacred Number is 2.   The Svadhistana is appropriately linked to the genitourinary and reproductive systems.  Following the development of the rainbow, the Color is Orange.  The Tattvic Yantra for the Water Element, however, is Apas, a white circle or silver crescent moon.   The representative lotus flower has six petals.

The link between the Svadhisthana Chakra and procreation may or may not be obvious, however, this also connects it to family.  One’s link to family and friends is connected to the energy of this Chakra.   Also, creativity and inspiration both begin here.  We are not just worried about our own survival, as we were at the First Chakra; our attention turns to Our Family, Clan and Race.  The Inner Champion becomes  ready to rescue the entire Community.

In Nova Thought, the Splenic Chakra is connected to the Rain Principle.

The next article will deal with the Manipura Chakra.
