For Thursday, November 21 2013 LA TV Insider Examiner recommends:

Parks and Recreation (NBC, 8 & 8:30 p.m.) - "Fluoride" / "The Cones of Dunshire" - Leslie (Amy Poehler) tries to complete some of her biggest city council goals, like hosting an NFL Play 60 event with the Indianapolis Colts, and trying to add fluoride to Pawnee’s drinking water. Meanwhile, Chris (Rob Lowe) and Ron (Nick Offerman) attempt to bond while building cribs for their future children. Then, Leslie goes toe-to-toe with Councilman Jamm (Jon Glaser) in a marathon negotiating session. Ben (Adam Scott) is in between jobs and takes up an interesting hobby to pass the time. Meanwhile, Ron (Nick Offerman) employs Tom (Aziz Ansari), April (Aubrey Plaza) and Donna (Retta) to help sell his cabin in the woods.

The Michael J. Fox Show (NBC, 9:30 p.m.) - "Thanksgiving" - When Mike (Michael J. Fox) and Leigh's (Katie Finneran) parents (guest stars Charles Grodin and Candice Bergen) come to town for Thanksgiving, Mike struggles to have an honest conversation with his father, while Annie (Betsy Brandt) deals with Mike's controlling mother. Eve (Juliette Goglia) teams up with Harris (Wendell Pierce) to keep tradition alive in the Henry household.

Scandal (ABC, 10 p.m.) - "Vermont is for Lovers, Too" - Olivia (Kerry Washington) and the team try to handle both uncovering the truth behind Operation Remington, while also managing a potential crisis with the Josie Marcus (Lisa Kudrow) campaign. Meanwhile, Quinn (Katie Lowes) falls further down the rabbit hole with Charlie (George Newbern), and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) creates a plan to take down Sally (Kate Burton), but doesn’t think of the possible harm he could inflict on himself.

Elementary (CBS, 10 p.m.) - “On The Line” - Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson (Lucy Liu) uncover the identity of a serial killer whose case has gone cold and find themselves butting heads with the NYPD.

Parenthood (NBC, 10 p.m.) - "Election Day" - Election day stirs up emotions amongst the family- Jasmine (Joy Bryant) and Crosby (Dax Shepard) use the election as a teaching moment for Jabbar (Tyree Brown), while Kristina (Monica Potter) and Adam (Peter Krause) keep hopes high. Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) deal with Victor’s (Xolo Mariduena) reservations and Amber (Mae Whitman) has some of her own, when the band asks her to sing guide vocals. Meanwhile Sarah (Lauren Graham) helps Hank (Ray Romano) with a family affair.
