Brooklyn Nine-Nine (FOX, 8:30 p.m.) - "Old School" - Jake’s (Andy Samberg) dream comes true when he gets to spend the day with his hero, Jimmy Brogan (guest star Stacy Keach), a former crime reporter. But the dream becomes a nightmare when Jake’s comments about Holt (Andre Braugher) and the precinct are considered “on the record.” Meanwhile, Terry (Terry Crews) and Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) try to teach Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) how to be less terrifying on the witness stand

The Goldbergs (ABC, 9 p.m.) - "The Kremps" - The Goldbergs meet their new neighbors, the Kremps, an all-American family, very well put together and seemingly perfect. Beverly (Wendy McLendon-Covey) invites them over for a BBQ and gets no response. But nobody says no to Beverly Goldberg! When the Kremps eventually come over as a result of Beverly’s insistent urging, the afternoon turns into a frenzy, resulting in an outcome no one saw coming.

Supernatural (The CW, 9 p.m.) - "Heaven Can't Wait" - Castiel (Misha Collins) gets a job at a Gas-N-Sip and actually starts to enjoy life as a human. A headline in the local newspaper about some disappearances in the area catches his eye, so he calls Dean (Jensen Ackles) to help him investigate the case. Dean knows he needs to keep Sam/Ezekiel (Jared Padaleck) away from Castiel, so he tells Sam that he and Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) need to stay and work with Crowley to decipher the tablet. Crowley agrees to help Sam and Kevin but in return he wants one phone call to hell.

Trophy Wife (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) - "Lice and Beary White" - When the Harrison household is infected with lice, Diane (Marcia Gay Harden) tries to take charge leaving Kate (Malin Akerman) feeling bulldozed. Jackie (Michaela Watkins) and Kate work together to try to prove a point to Diane, but their plan back fires and the lice problem worsens. Meanwhile, Pete (Bradley Whitford) plays mediator between Warren (Ryan Scott Lee) and Bert (Albert Tsai), who are fighting over custody of a teddy bear.

The Mindy Project (FOX, 9:30 p.m.) - "You've Got Sext" - When Mindy (Mindy Kaling) tells Danny (Chris Messina) she has a crush, he thinks she’s talking about him instead of Cliff, the lawyer (guest star Glenn Howerton). Meanwhile, Morgan (Ike Barinholtz) and Peter (Adam Pally) find Mindy’s phone and respond to a text from Cliff, which starts off innocently, but escalates into something that may lead to unintended romantic consequences.
