Nothing comes close, nothing compares to dolls (Video)

I was at mass this past weekend and during one of the prayers, I noticed, from the back of the church, there was an adult in search of a seat. As she got closer, I noticed a little girl trailing right behind her. And then I noticed that the little girl was clutching a curly, brown, headed doll, in her arms. The little girl looked to be at the age of four.

At that moment, I smiled and then I thought to myself, amazing! What’s so amazing is that, after all these years, centuries, decades; And at this day and age, of advanced technology in phones and computers, the latest fashion from shoes to the latest backpacks (yes, I love them too); we still continue to see that dolls remain to be, in the hearts of children. As well as the adults, who grant dolls to their children. Why do I say this? I gather we know, that dolls are wonderful companions. And there is nothing like a doll companion for a child; having a doll with them, where ever they go.

And even if technology becomes more advanced; like, when our furniture starts talking to us, dolls will never be replaced as a child’s playmate and companion. With the exception of family and friends, nothing comes close to the feeling having a doll in one’s arms. Nothing compares to it.

Speaking of nothing compares, visit New York's Madame Alexander's website. There are some new dolls you'll want to see.
