Aimee Song, former San Francisco resident now LA it girl is one of fashion’s favorites. She successfully juggles being an interior designer and operating her famously favored fashion blog, Song of Style. Song is known worldwide, with followers in the millions. She was the featured guest for Tiffany & Co.’s recent ATLAS Collection launch put on with Refinery29. Her fashionista flock turned out in droves to get a glimpse of their style icon in person.
Song’s look which can be seen in length on her blog, plays with youth and maturity, with just a dash of avant-garde that is understandable and desirable. You can imagine her off to a power meeting with Vogue editors or a hush hush VIP party later that night. There is something for the everyday and night in everyone, whether it is how she pairs unconventional ideas or patterns, to new silhouettes and refreshing inspiration. The way Song wears ATLAS is effortless, like the jewelry, that is part of the draw. Her eye for detail quickly spotted the ATLAS items I was wearing.
Both floors of the sprawling Tiffany flagship on Union Square were teaming with over 400 of the best and brightest fashion bloggers, writers and influencers. Accessorized fingers were posting social media updates everywhere, every moment. The buzz was hot, and Amiee looked très cool. Layers upon layers of her favorite ATLAS pieces reflected her natural aesthetic for excess in moderation. With jewelry piled on high, her white wide leg slacks and a slouchy black button down offered a relaxed yet refined, chic feel. Finished with freshly blown out hair her polished look let the jewelry sing.
This particular Tiffany & Co. location is the first outside of New York and celebrated its 50th year last month. The success of the atypical ATLAS launch with Refinery29 shows the wisdom gained, after five decades of honing what Tiffany & Co. means in San Francisco. Some fun eye candy from the night included the Instagram booth, the most party ready truffles I’ve ever seen, and Tiffany & Co. models adorning other jewelry looks from the line. See that and other moments from the event in the Hot Shots section.
