The District Dish Celebrates One Year and their First Live Taping at Public Bar February 15th from 6:00 - 8:30 PM. For a $10 entry you get to mingle with hosts Kate Michael, Ebong Eka, Sonya Gavankar and fans, all the while nibbling on complimentary hors d’oeuvres and vying for your chance to get caught live on camera, DC style. Fat or Flat???
You may call it Fat Tuesday but to many of DC’s eclectic community February 16th is known as Pancake Tuesday. In honor of good old-fashioned flipping fun stop by L’Enfant Café for their First Annual Mardi-Gras Crepe Flipping Race. Doors open at 4:30 PM with all Belgian beers half price until 7:30 PM and crepe flipping races starting at 8:00 PM. ?
Fall 2010 - DC Fashion Week
Be part of an international fashion debut at the Mexican Cultural Institute from 7:00 – 9:00 PM to preview award-winning Serbian, Mexican and Argentinean designers with Planete Chic DC. Front row seats are sold out but you can still claim your spot for $30 general admission. Of course, dress chic – urban chic.
