Not Tonight Josephine releases video for IHateRollerCoastersAnyway

Tampa post-hardcore band Not Tonight Josephine is having quite the summer: they timed a music video release to coincide with their performance at the St. Petersburg date of the Vans Warped Tour and are working on a new album.

The video for fan favorite song "IHateRollercoastersAnyway" has been out for about two weeks and already has 1,645 views. The band was added to Warped Tour's Ernie Ball Stage after winning the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands. They have also just started work on a new album with From First to Last's Taylor Larson - so remember the name Not Tonight Josephine, you'll be seeing a lot more of them.

Not Tonight Josephine is a band that spells perseverance: they've endured lineup changes while building up an international fan base. They have shared the stage with such bands as A Day to Remember, Rise Against, Underoath, New Found Glory, and fellow Warped Tour performers The Color Morale. They’re also known for their post hardcore covers of “Thrift Shop”, “All That She Wants” as well as Dexter inspired video for original song “Carousel”.

From the Carrythe4 press release about "IHateRollerCoastersAnyway":

With Scott Vallina (guitar) and Danny Garry (vocals) joining just prior to the recording of “Common Gold”, an entirely new light has been shed on the band. Simultaneously grander and more raw than previous releases, “Common Gold” screams fervent honesty and is only the beginning of the next chapter for Not Tonight Josephine.

The band’s relentless touring across 2014 so far has paid off, with a quickly growing reputation in the post-hardcore scene and a keen fan base to boot. With the release of the new video for ‘IHateRollercoastersAnyway’, an appearance at Warped Tour and the new album to boot, the year is only getting more exciting for fans of Not Tonight Josephine.

If you're in the Tampa area on September 20, make sure to catch them at The Brass Mug. You can listen to their music, including "IHateRollerCoastersAnyway", here.
