~You get what you put into it. ~
Author Dr. Brian Walsh says if you want to grow, develop, and learn, then you will have to get outside of your comfort zone.
One of the world's leading motivational speakers, Brian Tracy also says, "Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new."
Though these types of speeches are for salespeople or a general audience, the same holds true for fitness and weight loss.
When you constantly move [exercise] out of your comfort zone, your muscles experience stress and tension. That's when growth takes place. Some of us are comfortable with where we are and how we look. More than likely, those people are not in your bootcamp.
If you know you want a change in your weight and/or fitness level, expect to get back what you put into it. If you expect to get by, using the same effort everyday, you will discover lackluster results, if any. A trainer can push you and fellow campers can motivate you, but no one can do the workout for you.
- Do you have a wedding or reunion to attend and you want to show off your flawlessly beauty?

- Are you finding it difficult to get up off the floor, after playing with your kids or grand kids?
Everyday before bootcamp, look in the mirror and say, "I want to lose weight (or get fit) because__". When you remind yourself of your personal motivation, you will feel the difference in your intensity and reach your goal that much quicker.
Caution: Do not expect overnight results. You didn't become overweight or out of shape overnight, it happened gradually. Getting results is also a gradual process, it takes time and serious commitment.
