Nostalgic holiday recipes - Spiced Tea Mix

Warm up anytime with this mix for spiced tea.

Stacie wrote: One I've been wanting but not sure where to look... it was a powered tea we made in school for our families. It for sure had instant tea, Tang, and lots of yummy spices like cloves and such mixed in. I was pretty little when we made it so I don't remember all the mix-ins.

I remember making this too as a kid, and thank you for bringing it back to the table. This recipe for spiced tea mix - also called Russian Tea - is easy to make in bulk so it is ready to go any time you need to warm up with something sweet.

Spiced Tea Mix

1 7-ounce jar Tang

1 cup instant tea powder

2 3-ounce packages sweetened lemonade mix

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

1 1/2 cup sugar

Mix together all ingredients thoroughly and store in air-tight container. To prepare tea, use 2 teaspoons mix to each cup of hot water.
