Norwegian hires American cabin crew for its New York and Ft Lauderdale bases

Earlier this year, the OSM Aviation recruitment team traveled to Ft Lauderdale to recruit over 100 new crew members for Norwegians new crew base in South Florida. The recruitment was done in close cooperation with Norwegians cabin management.

Norwegian started its long-haul operation in 2013 with routes between Thailand and the U.S. and Europe. In 2014, the route network will expand to include 14 routes between the U.S. and Europe, the company said.

"Our goal is that everyone should afford to fly. In our opinion, airfare between the U.S. and Europe has been far too expensive. To maintain an effective operation, crew bases will be placed at the start or end of the route segment and we are happy to announce the establishment of our first crew bases in the U.S.,” said Norwegian’s CEO Bjørn Kjos in a statement.

Norwegian has entrusted the recruitment of American cabin crews to OSM Aviation, a provider of high quality Crew Employment and Crew Management services with operations worldwide. OSM Aviation offers a broad range of services including employment and management of Cabin Crew.
