Breaking Ground: 20th-Century Latin American Art features 20th-century Latin American artists from 1931-1985. The works featured stray away from the usual political themes and explores whatever interests the artists. They took on a more modernist approach by playing with lines, form, shape, texture and color. Some of the artist featured include Diego Rivera, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Roberto Matta, Gego, Antonio Frasconi.

Works on Paper - October 12, 2013 from 1:00pm-3:00pm, further examines the artists featured in "Breaking Ground."
Roots of Hispanic Culture - November 2, 2013 from 1:00-2:00pm, is a tour from the museum educator.
