Northwest VEG throws party to celebrate 10 years

Northwest VEG, Portland’s premier vegetarian organization is celebrating an anniversary, and everybody is invited. On May 16, vegetarians, vegans and those who aspire to be will gather at the historic Oaks Park Dance Pavilion to commemorate 10 years.

Here are a few reasons to go:

• Win a prize in the raffle
Vegan food by local favorites, including bakeries Back to Eden and Sweetpea
• Music
• A reason to trade your fleece for cocktail attire
• A chance to rub shoulders with like-minded folks

Tickets are $10 for current Northwest VEG members, $20 for non-members and $5 for kids aged 6-12. Bring your littler ones for free.
