Northside Festival adds The War on Drugs, Beirut, Talib Kweli and more to lineup

Northside Festival, Brooklyn’s largest discovery festival for music, film, art and entrepreneurship announced several additions to its lineup of musical acts. Topping the list were two special performances from critically-acclaimed bands The War on Drugs and Beirut that will take place in a 6,000-capacity outdoor venue in North Williamsburg (formerly “Williamsburg Park”).

The War on Drugs, fresh off of a recent string of sold-out shows and the release of their new album, will perform on June 13 followed by returning headliners Beirut on Saturday, June 14. Tickets for both shows are on sale now: http://northsidefestival.com/music-tickets/

Other additions to the lineup include Perfect Pussy, Talib Kweli, Albert Hammond, Jr., The Dead Milkmen, Eleanor Friedberger, The Barr Brothers, Lust for Youth, Pharmakon, Benjamin Booker, Diane Coffee, Ava Luna, YVETTE, and Shamir.

They will join the likes of already announced artists CHVRCHES, Sharon Van Etten, F*ck Buttons, Titus Andronicus, Beach Fossils, Courtney Barnett, Omar Souleyman, Dan Croll, Eagulls, Mas Ysa and many, many more.
