At the end of the first quarter Northern Highlands led 8-4. NH's Madison Dunbar worked hard to give pressure to the Glen Rock guards. She had 6 steals, 1 rebound, 2 assists, and 10 points.
Glen Rock used a weaving offense to lull Northern Highlands out of their defense and open up the paint for back door cuts. Glen Rock's Sophie Lederer did a great job in the point guard position, directing and communicating with teammates. Lederer had 3 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 blocked shot, 2 assists, and 4 points.
Northern Highlands picked up steam in the third quarter. Jackie Reyneke dominates inside the paint, ripping down every rebound in her vicinity. Several times she also helped the guards by bringing the ball up the court. Her turn around jumper could not be contested. She finished with 17 rebounds, 2 assists, and 20 points. Northern Highlands led at the end of the third quarter, 28-15.
