‘Tis the pumpkin harvest season, and if you’re going to buy one, you might as well buy one that’s attached to a prize. Northeast Minneapolis is hosting its own pumpkin patch incorporating prizes and discounts at area retailers.
Everyone who buys a pumpkin at the third annual Great Northeast Pumpkin Grab receives a prize from one of 24 participating Northeast businesses.
Contrary to reports of a nationwide pumpkin shortage, the Pumpkin Grab will go on.
Farmer Dave will park his pumpkin trailer outside The Bulldog Northeast from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, October 16, at the Northeast corner of East Hennepin Avenue and Fourth Street.
Grab your pumpkin then shop as some retailers like Key North will feature sales and product shows. The first 50 participants also receive an I ♥ NE pint glass. But be warned: It truly is a pumpkin “grab” as these good-sized pumpkins sell out fast.
