Rahr & Sons/Cowboy Santas, FWMBA, The Bearded Lady

If you've been considering a trip to the west side of town of late, this just might be the week to make it happen.

In addition to the regular Wednesday and Saturday tours, Rahr & Sons is holding a special event at the brewery on Thursday night in association with Cowboy Santas. Enjoy food and drink, along with a chance to pick up some commemorative glassware during Christmas in July, an event whose proceeds will go to help provide toys to underprivileged children during the holiday season.

Looking over the weekend's activities, two events look to be your best bet for tapping into some hard-to-find rarities. Saturday at the Bearded Lady in Fort Worth, they'll be marking their first anniversary with a Beer Circus featuring beers like Founders KBS, Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA and an exclusive offering from Martin House called Salty Lady. Over at the Flying Saucer in Addison, they'll have rare vintages along with a run of highly sought-after brews from Prairie Artisan Ales during their 4th Annual Brew-BQ on Sunday. Check the image at this link for full details.

Also worth a look is the 4th Annual Fat Tire Festival being held on Sunday in Fort Worth. Celebrate all things mountain bike with brews from Rahr & Sons, Martin House and the Collective Brewing Project.
