Belgian Beer Week continues at a few venues this week as Monday is Belgian Independence Day. Special tappings and glassware giveaways will be going on daily at the Holy Grail Pub in recognition of the holiday, while the Meddlesome Moth wraps up its month-long homage to Brewery Ommegang with a beer dinner hosted by brewmaster Phil Leinhart tonight at 6 p.m.

Speaking of beer dinners, there are numerous events of this type on this week's calendar. Lakewood is the featured brewery for a five-course pairing going on at Jack Mac's Swill & Grill on Tuesday, then on Friday you'll have your choice between dinners with Deep Ellum at Del Frisco's in Fort Worth or Samuel Adams at Cook Hall in Dallas.

Elsewhere, those in Dallas who haven't had a chance to try brews from Fort Worth's newest brewery, Panther Island, can do so Wednesday at Craft and Growler. A new beer will also be on the menu Friday at the Rustic, as Deep Ellum debuts Labor of Love One, which was brewed in honor of Mox Nix Brewery, last year's winner of Best in Show at the brewery's annual homebrew competition.

Finally, take note that FireWheel will be celebrating their second anniversary on Saturday with special releases, food trucks and limited edition glassware.
