North Texas craft beer events, week of July 14

See also

It's Belgian Beer Week, which means bars and restaurants around town are putting on events celebrating that country's brews leading up Belgian Independence Day on July 21. Monday's Pour Man's Beer Dinner at the Common Table will get in on the theme with a menu of Belgian-inspired pairings, while area Flying Saucers will feature special releases daily, as well a Belgian Beer Brunch happening on Sunday at the Addison location.

Also happening this week, beers from Michigan-based Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales will be available for the first time in the North Texas Market. Bottles should start appearing at retailers, or you can hit up Craft and Growler for Jolly Pumpkin's Dallas launch party on Thursday.

Lastly, take note that the area's first cidery is holding its Grand Opening Bash this Saturday in Dallas. The Bishop Cider Company will have three house ciders on tap, including one brewed with "a healthy portion of hops" for the beer nerd in all of us. Your ticket to that event will include a sample flight, a 32 oz logo growler (filled for $10), and a "giant slice" of Zoli's Pizza.
