North Texas craft beer events for the week of May 26

This week's marquee event features rare brews both on tap and in the bottle as the World Beer Company Bottle Shop in Dallas celebrates its third anniversary. Going on Saturday starting at noon, highlights of the day's menu include an entire run of Saint Arnold's Bishop's Barrel Series and the elusive Firestone Walker Parabola.

Leading up that are a number of midweek beer and food pairings hosted by area establishments. On Tuesday, Park Tavern, has a Texas Game Beer Dinner featuring beers from Lakewood, while at the Libertine they'll be hosting a Utah Whiskey & Beer Dinner with spirits from the High West Distillery & Saloon, along with craft beers from Uinta and the Utah Brewer's Cooperative. Then on Thursday, Martin House will be in the spotlight at the British Beverage Company for something they're calling Beer Happenings.

Elsewhere, there'll be more chances to pick up glassware from both Rahr and Cedar Creek, as well as opportunities to #drinklocal during Brew Nights with Community on Monday at the Rustic, and at the Rahr Tap Takeover happening on Friday at Henry's Tavern.
