The Common Table, Holy Grail Pub, 903 Brewers, Lakewood Brewing Company

Sitting down to write this week's article, the theme song from Happy Days suddenly popped into my head. Why? Because every single day ahead represents an opportunity to enjoy something rare, thanks to week-long celebrations going on at the Common Table and the Holy Grail Pub, or even something unusual (consider this your donut beer alert). If that's not enough to make a craft beer lover happy, I'm not sure what is.

At the Common Table, they'll be celebrating their fourth anniversary all week by pouring all manner of highly-sought-after brews, a few of which will be on the menu on Saturday for their Founders Tap Takeover. The latter will feature thirteen of that brewery's beers, including Kentucky Breakfast Stout and Backwoods Bastard.

Speaking of whiskey infusions, both of the aforementioned beers will also be served during Bourbon Week at the Holy Grail Pub. The event starts tonight with the ever-popular Bourbon Barrel Temptress from Lakewood, which along with other nightly selections should make for a nice pairing with the Grail's featured dessert, Bread Pudding with Whiskey Butter Sauce.

Looking ahead to Saturday, that donut beer mentioned above will be one of seven special releases tapped during 903 Brewers' One Year Anniversary Party. Donuts and Coffee with Sasquatch will be one of the rarities available to enjoy, along with brews like 903's Pecan Porter Aged in Coffee Liqueur Barrels or the Chosen One randallized with lime and pineapple.

Last but not least, Saturday is also the day for a unique Pop-Up Beer Dinner at Lakewood. The brewery has teamed up with Chef Daniel Tarasevich for a five-course meal paired with brews like Antigoon's Revenge, La Dame Du Lac and Bourbon Barrel Temptress. Tickets for the evening are $70pp, and can be purchased here.
