Two workers at a North Massapequa spa were arrested Thursday afternoon after offering to perform sexual acts on undercover officers, Nassau County police said.
Chum Ping Zhao, 43, and Guiyue Xu, 49, both of Flushing, were arrested and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession after Nassau County Police Vice Bureau officers went undercover to the spa the women worked at in North Massapequa. According to police, the women were working at Day Spa located at 903A N. Broadway when officers conducted an undercover operation on Thursday around 1:18 p.m.
Authorities said the women practiced massage therapy at the North Massapequa location, without being licensed. Cops also said that Zhao “offered to engage in a sexual act for an undisclosed amount of money.” Officers noted that the two women were then taken into custody without incident.
Both suspects were held overnight in police custody and are scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Hempstead on Friday.
