North Korea targeting nuclear tests at US: Preparing for war? (Video)

Yahoo News reported on Jan, 24 2013, North Korea declared on Thursday that it would execute further rocket launches and a nuclear test aiming its sworn enemy, the United States.

The declaration by the North Korea's National Defense Commission was made just a day before the agreement of the U.N. Security Council to a U.S.-backed resolution to censure North Korea for a rocket launch in December that violated U.N. rules.

South Korea believes that North Korea is technically prepared for a third nuclear test and Kim Jong-un has the authority to give his decision on the same.

The State News Agency KCNA reported that the North Korea's National Defense Commission said that they are not masking the reality that the several satellites and long-range rockets that they will fire and the high-level nuclear test they will accomplish are targeted at the United States.

Analysts proclaimed the North could perform test as early as February as South Korea prepares for the inauguration of an untested president or that it could choose to stage a nuclear explosion to concur with previous ruler Kim Jong-il's Feb. 16 birthday.
