The Societe de transport de Montreal (STM) has informed the users of public transit of the summer closure of the North entrance of the Du College metro station from May 30th to August 28th, 2011.

As part of the Phase II of the Reno-Stations program, the overhaul works will include the demolishing and rebuilding of the entrance building’s structural slab, adding a waterproofing membrane, repairing staircases and floor finishes, as well as installing new windows.

No bus route detours are planned; passengers who want to take the 128 – Ville-Saint-Laurent will have to exit the station from the south side (Cartier exit) and walk along Decarie to the north entrance, where the bus stop is located. Transit users can also take either a 17 – Décarie or 72 – Alfred-Nobel bus.
