On Tuesday, Fox 8 News published a disturbing story about a Greensboro, N.C. man accused of committing heinous crimes against a child and a dog.
Specifically, Derwayne Wesley Sharp, 38, is accused of having sex with a minor, as well as bestiality - in other words, sex with a dog.
As a result, Sharp is facing multiple charges, including: first-degree rape of a child, crimes against nature, sexual offense with a child, taking indecent liberties with children and two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to online records for the Guilford County Sheriff, the suspect was arrested back on January 11.
Currently, Sharp remains behind bars at the Greensboro jail on over $500,000 in secured bonds. Records indicate that he will appear in court on Tuesday, and again next week.
