Nancy Boland, of North Bellmore, pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges. She was accused stabbing her ex-husband to death during an argument.
Boland will likely be sentenced to 7 years in prison. The guilty plea was in exchange for the lighter sentence.
Boland is also facing charges of assault, after she was arrested for allegedly beating up her 83-year-old mother in her Oakdale home. She is currently in jail in Suffolk County.
Boland was divorced from Walter Boland, but the former couple was still living together. On Nov. 16, 2011, the two were moving furniture when a door smashed. Walter Boland apparently became angry, and threatened to beat her with a screwdriver.
She then dragged her ex-husband's body into their car, drove to a bike path along Wantagh State Parkway and left the body there. The body was discovered a few days later.
