North American title match headlines huge NWA Houston card in Cypress

In just a few hours, NWA Houston storms back into the Cypress VFW for what could end up being one of the biggest nights of the year. Four huge title matches are planned, in the midst of a wild night of action.

Since turning his back on everyone two months ago, Tim Storm has been on a vicious streak. Laying waste to everyone in his path, Storm has put a lot of people within the NWA on notice. But standing in his way tonight will be a tall challenge in the form of NWA North American Champion Byron Wilcott. Both men know each other very well, and Storm has vowed to leave Cypress with the gold. Can he deliver on his promise or will the man known as "Addictive and Expensive" send him retreating without a title?

NWA Lone Star Heavyweight Champion Scot Summers has made good on his promise of being a fighting champion, putting down everyone in his way lately. When he steps into the ring tonight, he'll be standing across from a new challenger named Keith Lee. Everyone is fully aware of what Summers is capable of, but fans will get their first look at Lee and and what he brings to the table.

"Notorious" Shane Taylor is as vicious as any big man at NWA Houston. After a brutal dogfight last month with Raymond "Death" Rowe, Taylor said he was hungry for more. Enter then man known as "Godzilla" Jax Dane. Somebody better make sure the ring is EXTREMELY reinforced, because these two will tear the house down in every possible fashion. Don't look for a technical showcase here, look for two monsters simply ready to prove who is the best big man in Cypress.

After getting recent looks at Steve Anthony, NWA Houston management decided it was time to put him to the test. He'll get a golden opportunity to knock off one of the hottest stars in Texas, as he faces off against Houston Carson. Anthony could power his way onto the map in a BIG way if he could pick up a win against Carson. But it'll be no easy task, as Carson has faced off against the best there is to offer and has survived them all. He's determined to not let Anthony make his name well-known at his expense. Be warned...this could easily be a show-stealer.

Anytime you get a shot at the gold, it's a big moment. But the team of Breaking Point (Silky Baines and DJ King) are set on causing an international incident tonight as they get a shot at the NWA Australia Tag Team Titles. Current champions Shark carter and Chris Target are making their way through the country this week, bringing their international style to fans everywhere they go. Tonight, they stop off in Cypress with the intent of adding Breaking Point to the list of teams they've already knocked off. But the challengers are up to the task, and will be set on winning another set of tag team gold.

In addition, Danny Ramons defends the gold against Erik Shadows as well as appearances by The Empire members Matt Riviera and Greg Anthony, David "Super" Duperon, Hambone, and the return of Prince Kanu. All of this and more will go down at the Cypress VFW, located at 21902 Northwest Freeway (Hwy 290, between Huffmeister and Telge)

Tickets will be available at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. A very select few VIP tickets are still available, for $15. The VIP tickets will guarantee a front row seat for the event as well as special meet and greet session with the NWA Houston stars before doors open to the general public.
