The 19th annual Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, the nations largest wine and grape conference and largest trade show as well as the largest event host by the Sacramento Convention Center, opens this week, showcasing the latest science, technology, business developments and industry research. Over 12,000 industry professionals will be attending conferences, seminars, tastings and visiting over 650 suppliers on exhibit throughout the Center.
Registration opens Monday, January 28 from 1-5pm. The Conference will kick off at 9am Tuesday with How the Global Wine Market Affects U.S. Production. Additional seminars on Tuesday include State of the Art Customer Service and Winemaking Distribution.
The annual State of the Industry general session begins at 8:30 Wednesday morning, exhibits open at 9 am. Even the wine industry isn't immune to social media, there will be a Marketing/PR breakout session to discuss New Technologies and Digital Media from 2-4 pm.
Thursday's general session begins the last day of the conference with Consumer Trends Affecting Growers and Wineries followed by a hosted buffet luncheon, a final chance to visit exhibits and three more seminars: How to Position Your Brand for Success, Evaluating Cabernet Sauvignon across Multiple Regions and Strategies for Future Sourcing Requirements.
