Norman Reedus wins the Spike TV’s Guys Choice Award 2014 for Biggest Ass Kicker. He also won the popularity vote for Most Dangerous Man on TV award, beating out Blacklist’s James Spader.

Reedus accepted his award onstage during the Guys Choice Awards show, televised from Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California on June 11, 2014.

He was not the only actor from The Walking Dead to receive an award from Spike TV; fellow Walking Dead cast member Lauren Cohan rightfully won the viewer’s choice Jean-Claud Gahd Dam award from Eva Green (Penny Dreadful, Sin City), proving that the women of AMC’s popular show are just as deadly as the men when it comes to battling the zombie hordes.

Walking Dead family friend Chris Hardwick (The Talking Dead) took home the Smartacus Award for being the best Smart Ass and loveable zombie wrangler talk show host.

In an interview with Anya Leon from People Magazine, Reedus shares that he does not consider himself “very ass-kickerish”.

"Give Daryl Dixon a walker and he can take him down with one shot.

But off-screen, Norman Reedus finally met his match – against a new mattress.

I chopped the tip of my finger off the other day and I cried like a baby. I'm a complete wimp," the The Walking Dead star told PEOPLE as he picked up the biggest ass-kicker award at Spike TV's Guys Choice Awards Saturday.

"That's not very ass kicker-ish, is it?" he jokes of the tough time taking the plastic off his bed. "Listen, you can give a crossbow to anybody and they look bad ass." – Anya Leon for People.com
