Norman Reedus is a fan favorite on "Walking Dead" and while at PaleyFest, a Southern California TV celebration, he shared that his fans are what kept him on the show, reports Huffington Post on March 2. Being on a zombie apocalypse show is the worst because anyone can go at any time, and you always hope it isn't you, Reedus shares.
While doing a panel for the celebration, he shares that his fans, all those people in the crowd wearing shirts that claim they will riot if Daryl dies, are the reason that he has lived on throughout the show to this point. Without them, he likely would have been dead awhile ago.
In a series like this, the show's longevity is always at stake and the fact that fans like Daryl and his zombie killing ways as much as they do is more than impressive. It gives hope to the show and how it could possibly last.
What do you think of how the show chooses who dies? Do you think this is accurate? Is Merle next by this assumption or is he the one that everyone loves to hate?
