Fans have been asking for awhile whether Daryl and Carol will ever get together and on March 4 E Online finally talked to Normal Reedus about whether it could ever be a possibility.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem likely. Reedus says that if they do ever get together that Daryl wouldn't be making the first move. Daryl is a fighter because he's always had to fight to survive. He doesn't really know how to deal with liking someone or someone liking him. There will be several awkward moments that involve Carol and Daryl attempting private moments that would be far more entertaining than having them simply kiss do that is where they plan on leaving it.
Reedus hints at the fact that he obviously has feelings for her because he states that there are only two type of people that fight. Those that are protecting someone or those that are trying to prove a point. Daryl doesn't have a reason to prove any points so he obviously is showing his affection by doing what he knows to do best.
Many fans feel complacent with the illusion of the couple getting together but they still hope that it happens. Daryl hasn't ever committed to anything 100 percent which would likely make getting together even more difficult if he's always so indecisive.
