It is no secret that Norman Reedus has a lot of fans, especially among women and that viewers want to see him get together with Carol, played by Melissa McBride, on "The Walking Dead." On March 6, Inside TV published their conversation with the actor about his thoughts on the subject.
Fans want Daryl and Carol to hook up and it seems that Norman Reedus would not object if it happened on the show. He said,
”If it does, lucky me. She’s awesome. She’s my favorite actress on the show. I mean, I like them all, but I’ve gotten to work a lot with her and know her vibe. If it happens, it happens. I want it to be awkward when it happens. I want it to be really awkward. I want her to make the first move.”
Sounds like he has been thinking about this quite a bit!
The actor revealed that he doesn't believe Daryl has ever been in a real relationship and that he did not grow up with a woman at home, so they are foreign creatures to him.
He believes that it makes sense that their characters are drawn to each other because they are damaged. Daryl did not exactly have the best upbringing and his brother, Merle, sure hasn't done him any favors. As fans remember from the first season of "The Walking Dead," Carol's husband was abusive and viewers were quite satisfied when he was killed by a zombie.
What do you think about what Norman Reedus said about Daryl and Carol's possible romance? Would you like to see them get together on "The Walking Dead?"
