It's winter clearance time at Nordstrom Rack, as the store's "Clear the Rack" event starts today and offers markdowns of up to 75% off remaining winter items. Like many clothing retailers, the new spring arrivals are waiting to hit the floor and space needs to be made, which means merchants are eager to reduce prices to help move the remaining items.
The sale is in-store only, and prices are as marked throughout the store with no additional markdowns being taken at the register.
There are several Nordstrom Rack locations in the Seattle area: downtown Seattle, Northgate Mall in north Seattle, Factoria Mall in Bellevue, Golde Creek Plaza in Lynnwood, Southcenter Square in Tukwila and the SuperMall of the Great Northwest in Auburn. You can also find a Nordstrom Rack in Spokane at Spokane Valley Plaza.
Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc., carrying on-trend merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com at 50 to 60 percent off original Nordstrom prices. Nordstrom Rack also offers a wide selection of apparel, accessories and shoes from many of the brands carried in Nordstrom stores. These items are purchased specially for Nordstrom Rack, with most at savings of 30 to 70 percent off.
