The Norad Santa Tracker 2013 is up and running, giving kids a peek at where Santa has been so far and where he's headed. This insider track comes courtesy of the North American Aerospace Defense Command, which has been keeping tabs on the jolly joy-maker in the red suit and white beard for nearly 60 years now!
Besides tracking one of the most famous (albeit magical) men in the entire world, Norad is also responsible for keeping our air defenses top-notch and at the ready. But on Christmas Eve, all that really matters is they have the goods on the guy who gives the goods!
Norad Santa Tracker 2013: Where Is He Right Now?
So far, Santa Claus has dropped off goodies in Brazil, Argentina, Bermuda, Scotland as well as many U.S. cities, including Nashville and New York City. Still waiting for their visits are cities on the West Coast such as Los Angeles, in the Southwest in Tucson and Phoenix, and of course our friends in Hawaii, who are several hours behind the west coast of the United States.
For the 58th incarnation, the Norad Santa Tracker 2013 features slightly improved graphics over last year. The website also provided kids games to play and a virtual North Pole to frolic in all December as the big day, and the big guy, approached.
While Mrs. Claus and the elves are warm and cozy back at the North Pole, Mr. Claus is traveling the globe to bring wonder and amusement to boys and girls of all colors and creeds. Well-known for keeping an eye on the little ones and giving them incentive to exhibit good behavior year-round, and spreading good cheer to those who do on Christmas morning, Santa is a celebrity who truly gives back to his fans! (That is, if you believe...)
