Nonprofit Connect launches new website

Nonprofit Connect, which links primarily the Kansas City metro nonprofit community to education, resources and networking so those organizations can more effectively achieve their missions, launched its new website this week.

Based on feedback from among its 2,500 professional members from 500 organizations (including those outside the metro), the revamped website features a more contemporary and easier-to-navigate design.

Some of the site's most popular areas include:

  • Job Postings and Career Center
  • Events Calendar
  • Member Directory
  • Programs

Nonprofit Connect helps nonprofits achieve their missions in three ways:

  1. Networking -- It brings nonprofit professionals, board members and volunteers together and connects them with peers who understand the challenges, and rewards that nonprofit work provides.
  2. Education -- It provides resources and education through professional development for people at all levels and roles within nonprofit organizations. It trains them in fundraising, operations, marketing, governance, event and volunteer management.
  3. Collective Support -- It unites nonprofits, foundations, community and business leaders in a way that's rare across the country to strengthen their organizations and impact the future of Kansas City.
