It seems that lately everyone is in a "Hipster" state of mind. Meaning they are way to cool for everything; in particular weight lost resolutions. This New Year we witnessed a new wave of anti- resolutions. Which resulted in many opting out of pouring their money into the gym, or spending it on the latest fad diet. Instead thousands have joined the 365 day workout challenge . That's right no days off.
Not every day is meant to be grueling but everyday you must do some form of exercise. Social Networking, sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, have made fitness both popular and accessible to the general public. Giving millions access to support groups and workout out buddies right at their fingertips. Photos and quotes of encouragement and progress constantly flooding news feeds , no wonder so many have stepped up to the challenge. Here is a basic daily workout challenge I found on Solo Performance Blog.
run/walk 1 mile
25 sit-ups
25 pushups
25 burpees
25 squats
20 lunges (10 per leg)
75 jumping jacks
2 minute plank
2x 60 second wall sits
There maybe only 351 days left in the year but there is still plenty of time to accept the challenge
:P happy training
