Non-invasive liposuction: Where to find i-lipo in Fort Worth

Listen up Fort Worth.  We are half way through 2011.  Think back to those last few days of 2010 when your steely resolve would get you anywhere and no goal was too far-fetched.  Yeah, things kind of slowed down a bit since then right?

By a wide margin, weight loss and improved diet top the New Year's Resolution lists.  Many though, just don't follow through on their self improvement quest till just before a big event.  The frantic urge to drop a couple of sizes can mean drastic measures like starvation diets, very restrictive diets, or cosmetic surgery.

How about liposuction that does not involve sedation, a fat-sucking vacuum, or downtime?  Dr. Richard Ethridge, a Fort Worth plastic surgeon, has added a cold laser procedure to his practice.

The cell contents are processed by the lymphatic system so they can be metabolized during exercise, in much the same way as you process a meal. Metabolism of the fat cell contents permanently eliminates them from your body, leaving smaller and fewer fat cells....read more

So what does this have to do with healthy living you may ask?  Glad you did.

Apparently, the only way this procedure is effective is if you - are you ready - exercise and eat a healthy diet!

Treating yourself to a chicken fried steak with all the fixin's topped off with peach cobbler because you were such a good patient will not work.  Continued adherence to a healthy lifestyle improves your chances for the treatments to have a lasting effect.

It would also be good to remember that medical procedures are not a substitute for sound dietary and lifestyle choices.  They may be an option for starting you off in a body-image direction, but it is up to you to maintain and ultimately improve your physical being in a healthy and self-appreciating way.
