Non-Coincidental Ties of Violence

By: Brad Kronen

On the eve commemorating the 2nd worst mass murder in this country’s History, a shooting has taken place on the grounds of yet another American school.

In karmic Astrology, nothing is a coincidence and everything is connected.

Yesterday’s display of violence ties itself by location with it occurring 14 miles away from the 11th worst mass shooting in American history, which took place at a movie theater in Littleton, Colorado in July of 2012.

Yesterday’s shootings at Arapahoe High School which wounded 2 students and where the gunman took his own life, is grimly connected to yet another one of this country’s worst shootings to have ever taken place AND on school grounds, with it occurring a mere 8 miles from the 7th worst mass shooting site in American history which happened at Columbine High School back in April of 1999.

But the similarities don’t end just there.

When the Boston Marathon Bombings took place, I observed in my 2 Part series, “Unleashing More Than Just Showers: April & Its Events of Violence", how the 3rd week of April, in particular the 19th and 20th days of that month, were historically known for events marked with violence which included explosions, guns, and flames.

These events include:

Oklahoma City Bombing, Siege of the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas, Columbine High School Shootings, Virginia Tech Shootings, BP Explosion and Oil Spill, Boston Marathon Bombing

Seasons of Fire

Astrologically, the 3rd week of April is a time of year when a "Fire" season draws to a close. The sign of Aries takes place from March 20th to April 20th and is the first representative of the element of Fire. The foundation of the element of Fire is action, and each of the 3 Fire signs, (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) inherently need to be in as busy a state of action as humanly possible.

Aries’ planetary ruler is named after the ancient Roman god of War, Mars. Astrologically, Mars oversees such actively aggressive things as: War, Violence, & Guns (The metallic component of Guns, Iron, is Aries' metal).

During the 3rd week of April, an astrological shift occurs as the Sun leaves the element of Fire and enters the more stable and grounded element of Earth as it does upon commencing its trek through the sign of Taurus. But as we have repetitively seen with so many events of marked violence occurring on either the 19th or 20th of April, it’s as if our world experiences one final Mars influenced push as the Sun makes its exit from the element of Fire before entering the Peace driven sign of Taurus. (It’s no coincidence that Earth Day occurs on or after April 21st.)

The last representative of the element of Fire, the sign of the Archer, Sagittarius, takes place from November 23rd - December 22nd.

With Newtown's shootings last year on December 14th and now with yesterday's event at Arapahoe High School both taking place during the 2nd week of December, it appears as if the last of the Fire signs is following the same astrological suit as the First.
