Metal's biggest awards show is gearing up for its 6th annual ceremony at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on Wednesday April 23rd. This year's show is bound to be memorable, simply because Axl Rose is on the bill, if for nothing else. He will be performing live with Guns N Roses as well as receiving the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award. Rock royalty Joan Jett will also be performing, and making history as the first female to receive the Golden God Award, an prestigious honor given to those who truly live, breathe and embody the rock n roll spirit.
