Nominate a local Southern Nevada hero for the Everyday Heroes Award

The American Red Cross of Southern Nevada in partnership with Harrah’s Entertainment and support from Channel 8, NV Energy, and McDonald’s will host the fourth annual Everyday Heroes Awards breakfast on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 7:30am at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The Everyday Heroes Award is presented to members of the local community who provide outstanding service to others in times of crisis, disaster, or life threatening situations. Anyone can nominate deserving individuals for one of the following awards: Adult Good Samaritan, Youth Good Samaritan, Military, Fire Fighter, Law Enforcement, Emergency Dispatch, Animal Rescue, Aquatics, Medical Professional, Community Impact, and Community Service.

Nomination forms can be found on the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada website. To qualify, nominations must be submitted or postmarked by August 13, 2010.
