Nokomis and Leavitt showdown highlights girls basketball schedule

Plenty of heal points will be up for grabs when the Nokomis Warriors girls basketball team face the Leavitt Hornets at Nokomis high school on Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m.

The Warriors are coming off their first loss of the season. They fell to Oceanside 57-45 on January 11th.

Nokomis (9-1) is currently seeded third in the MPA class B eastern Maine standings.

The Hornets suffered their only loss of the season on January 8th when they dropped a 60-30 contest to Camden Hills.

The Hornets have played the last three games including the Camden Hills game without leading scorer Kristen Anderson due to a sprained ankle.
