The Nokia Lumia Icon from Verizon earned high praise from CNN Money: they called Icon "the best Windows phone yet" in their review on Feb. 28. Here are the first things we noticed in our hands-on review.

More Photos

The Nokia Lumia Icon is just a little larger than the current iPhones. See the photo attached to this article for a simple comparison. Icon is only available with Verizon service. It comes with a black or white outer shell and with mostly red tiles on the screen.

The Nokia Lumia Icon's screen measures 5 inches diagonally with 1080 by 1920 pixels, yielding excellent resolution.

This phone includes a 20 megapixel rear facing camera plus a decent front facing camera and video capability.

The processor is the fastest available now, a high speed quad-core chip.

The Operating system is Microsoft 8.

Icon comes standard with 32 gigabytes of storage, so it has lots of room for photos and music.

Nokia Lumia Icon's price is $199.99 with a new two-year commitment for Verizon service, or $550 without a commitment.

The Nokia Lumia Icon is a Verizon-only phone and it was first available on Feb. 20, 2014. You can buy one at Verizon.com, in a Verizon store or at Amazon.com.
