With CES 2013 breaking the 2012 record-setting year by accommodating 3,250 exhibitors across 1.9 million net square feet of exhibit space, it continues to show itself as the place for the world to find innovative ideas and dreams of thing to come. The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), who produces the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, showcased everything from startups to some of the major players of technology.
One story that illustrates the power of what this tradeshow is all about is Noitavonne, a Houston, Texas company led by President and CEO Lael Alexander, also a cofounder with a slogan that says it all, “Do Something Different”. (http://noitavonne.com/our-companies.html) As a late entry into CES 2012, purchasing space no larger than a 10’ x 10’ and sandwiched between other hopefuls looking for visibility in this, Las Vegas’ largest trade show, still found itself being sought after. Noitavonne, which is e-Nnovation backwards, is a company with emphasis placed on mobile device manufacturing and the promotion of its proprietary technology. In 2013 it has placed itself in a very prominent space at the Las Vegas Convention Center, increased in size by one hundred percent with a 20’ x 20’ booth.
In the year that followed the first entry into this technology happening, Noitavonne has manufactured a line of products including the Noitavonne A357 series of Android smartphones; The Noitavonne Loop tablet which comes in two sizes (7” & 10”) and the company’s premier tablet, The Noit Embrace which won “Best In Show” at the CTIA-The Wireless Association, Technology Conference.
Some say no matter where you are if you're the one that creates the better mousetrap the world will be at your doorstep. This company seems to be on its way to finding new and innovative ways and with the help of one of the world's largest trade shows the welcome mat seems to be out and ready.
