Los Angeles County is filled with some of the best Mexican restaurants around and one of the many favorite dishes " The Taco" is being celebrated this Saturday, September 24th in North Hollywood a.k.a NoHo. This weekend Sears North Hollywood will be sponsoring The NoHo Taco Cookoff at the NoHo Rockin' FoodTruck Fest and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit The Forgotten Dog Foundation in Santa Monica. The foundation is best known for the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption services they provide for abandoned and abused dogs.
In addition to the cookoff, there will be special sales happening in the Sears store itself, 25 other gourmet food trucks to choose from such as: Komodo, Truck Norris, Mossie Lee's Southern Cuisine, Jose O'Malley's, King Kone, The Poutine Truck, The Greasy Weiner, and Me So Hungry, 60 artisan vendors, music by groups like the Rock Nation Band, the Heights and others, dog adoptions, raffle prizes, aerial performances, hula hoop dancing, belly dancing, and more.
