Christelyn Karazin is a journalist and a blogger. Recently Karazin began promoting No Wedding No Womb with the best of intentions.
Some women may think this is a bit old fashioned or not agree because they do not want a man in their life. It is no surprise that men and women in Charlotte responded in different ways to No Wedding No Womb.
The point is not being made to criticize those who chose this road in the past. This is more a point that women today should have their education and gain some maturity before parenting. Maturity may include the decision to marry before giving birth.
Many who have experienced being raised in a home with just one parent would agree it was a tough situation. Some single parents have to depend on the state or their parents for support financially and emotionally because they are not able to provide for their child alone.
The idea of No Wedding No Womb is simple: Marriage should take place before one has a child. Christelyn Karazin offers details that make sense to many. Karazin makes excellent points, and those taking the time to read what she is saying will usually agree with what she is saying.
With 75% of African American kids being raised in single parent home the argument for otherwise may seem simple. Before making a decision on being for or against No Wedding No Womb consider the details Karazin presents. Remember, this is not about those who have already made their choice. This is to help others make the right choice about their future.
Many women want children but not a marriage. Perhaps this is based on their life experience or some researched facts. However, Charlotte residents this writer spoke with seemed open to listening to other input about No Wedding No Womb.
Apparently a large group took the idea of NWNW as a personal assault. They felt they needed to explain their situation, which was not being criticized by Karazin.
It is reported that older men often have babies with minor children. Yes, children. These girls, not women, are often having babies with men who would prefer the female not become educated. Some males need to have a woman that is trapped in a relationship that is going nowhere. Statistics show these men often have babies with several girls over the period of a few years. The health concerns alone might make readers think twice about what has been happening.
Young women growing up without the benefit of positive male attention are thought to seek attention that is not healthy. These young women will often not be able to continue their education because they have had a baby without a support system such as a husband.
Remember, the intention of No Wedding No Womb is not to criticize those who already have children without being married. The intention is to prevent the statistics from continuing to grow.
Women who are single raising children alone are asked to support the idea that avoiding a pregnancy outside marriage is a better choice.
So many great points are made on Karazin's site, No Wedding No Womb. Most will see the sides of for and against this issue. There are many facts others may not have considered before reading Karazin's site. This discussion is so needed for those girls and women who are young and not yet educated but thinking of having a baby.

Many have seen women having babies to make a man happy. The man disappears from the picture and the single woman carries the load alone. Open minded individuals may want to explore the issues Christelyn Karazin discusses before bringing another life to what some feel is an already half-destroyed and overloaded planet.
