Gifts of pink booties may be premature (no pun intended) for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Although an anonymous source reported earlier that Kimye, as the baby has been nicknamed thus far, was a girl, a Thursday report by new daddy Perez Hilton says "Not so fast."
Kardashian's representative has thrown cold water on the leaked gender of Kimye. Her rep said:
When the time is right, she'll confirm it herself.
That could be taken as saying "Yes, the baby is a girl, and Kim will confirm it when she feels the time is right." Or it could be seen as saying "You are so wrong."
Previously, it seemed that the baby's gender was a done deal, despite the lack of confirmation from Kardashian and West. Just two days ago, in fact, on the Feb. 26 episode of "Today," Kathie Lee Gifford, a close friend of the Kardashians and the godmother of both Kendall and Kylie Jenner, accidentally said that Kimye was a little girl.
During hour four of the show, Gifford said:
She [Kim] is four months pregnant, I think now with her little girl, and I said "where’s Kim?" and she [Kris Jenner] said "At the airport."
Sounds solid, but we'll have to wait, as Kim's rep said, for "when the time is right."
