Howard Stern Show co-host Robin Quivers was scheduled to appear on Friday morning's 'Today Show' according to a publicity calendar from her publisher Penguin Books, but she was nowhere to be found. Quivers was slated to promote her new cookbook/memoir "The Vegucation of Robin: How Real Food Saved My Life". The book was originally scheduled for a March 26, 2013 release date, but last week Amazon.com changed it to October 8, 2013 without explanation.
Quivers has been out of the studio and broadcasting from home via ISDN line since May 2012 after she underwent surgery to remove a grapefruit sized tumor found pressing on her bladder. Quivers' publicity team has stated that they will release no information regarding the Howard Stern Show queen's personal health. Read the updates here
Quivers is also scheduled to appear on "Entertainment Tonight," "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "The Doctors" within the next month, but with the book release date now pushed back to October, these will likely be rescheduled as well.
