It was announced on Tuesday that Justin Bieber will host "Saturday Night Live" on Feb. 9, but far more interesting news became available on Wednesday.
One of the bigger media events in Bieber's camp of late was his party in a Newport Beach Hotel room on Jan. 2. Pictures leaked to the media showed Bieber apparently smoking pot. Bieber even went so far as to tweet apologies to his fans after the photos emerged.
Well, in what might be surprise turn of events for some, sources have said that Bieber has given "SNL" writers the go-ahead to use pot-smoking as part of skits that evening.
In fact, Bieber's team has done even more than that. According to NBC sources, Bieber's camp has declared nothing off-limits. Absolutely nothing, and in fact, the sources say Justin Bieber himself has told producers and writers to push him as close to the edge as possible, in sketches.
That would mean there are other possible subjects on the, as well, some perhaps more touchy than the marijuana smoking incident. Those would include the death of Chris Guerra, the paparazzo who died while trying to take snapshots of Bieber's Ferrari -- reportedly because he thought he was onto (wait for it) Justin Bieber a pot-smoking story.
It would also include Justin Bieber's latest (it's happened more than once) break-up with Selena Gomez.
FYI, who do you think will be musical guest when Bieber hosts. It's his favorite singer -- no, not Selena, since they have split, but himself.
