Have a romantic dinner together at home for Valentine’s Day. Sounds great doesn't it.
Without a doubt Valentine’s Day is one of the busiest days in the restaurant industry.
Quite romantic meal for just the two of you, it sounds perfect, good Luck with that. Most restaurants are overbooked, overpriced specials, and under staffed.
You can go out to dinner any night during the year. Try something new this year and make dinner together. Send the kids to the babysitter, even get part of the meal catered if you feel that is the best option based on your culinary skills.
The whole point of Valentine’s Day is to enjoy quite time with your loved one, not be in the middle of chaos. You can even hire a server to assist you so you can relax and they do the cleaning. That option might be less expensive than a fine dining establishment, which could easily cost over $200.00.
The other plus is you do not need a designated driver. Just stumble to bed together.
If you are not currently in relationship, invite other friends over. Tell Them to bring wine and make a pot luck (try to make it a little fancier than the 4th of July kind). This could be a lot of fun and maybe you find that special someone for your valentine for next year.
