No plans for this weekend?

You should have, if you’re a craft beer lover! Friday evening (5-9 pm) is Fat Head’s Headstrong Ale Festival, which continues with two more sessions on Saturday (Noon-4 pm and 6-10 pm). Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door, but there’s not much time left for “advance.” There will be live music and 30+ beers on tap from Fat Head’s and other breweries. Since spring hasn’t sprung yet in Northeast Ohio, it’s time for some more winter warmers!

Also on Saturday is the Winking Lizard Cask Ale Fest at their party center in Bedford Heights. They will also have two sessions on Saturday: 1-4 pm and 5-8 pm. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at www.winkinglizard.com. ($5 off if you’re a World Tourist) The list of beers is impressive, and this isn’t all:

  • Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout with Nigerian coffee
  • Willoughby Gutterpup Porter with Cacao Nibs & orange peels
  • Flying Dog Habanero & Mango Raging Bitch
  • Stone Coffee IPA
  • Bells Hopslam
  • Brooklyn Pennant Ale
  • Weyerbacher Heresy
  • Thirsty Dog Belgian Pale Ale
  • Columbus Brewing Co. Dry Hopped IPA
  • Brew KettleTunguska Imperial Stout with chocolate and Pablano chipolte pepper
  • Hinterland IPA
  • Thornbridge Scotch Ale
  • Heavy Seas Big DIPA
  • Heavy Seas Loose Cannon

So...get yourself a designated driver and see if you can get to both events this weekend, because it's too difficult to choose which one to go to.
